Token for Essentials Directory

I have an external custom application that we would like to access a workflow that is already existing. 

 

We have the application using a POST method to the workflows REST endpoint in the site directory and passing in parameters to the workflow. It works great when the workflow has no security. However obviously once I set some security the application can't access the workflow without some authentication.

 

I can use the https://{...}/Geocortex/Essentials/REST/security/signIn page the authenticate and access the rescources, however the application has to reauth for every request to run the workflow. 

 

Has anyone gotten around this? I'm thinking a token would be appropiate but I'm not sure if the Essentials Site Directory does token authentication. 

 

Any advice would be greatly apprecaited

  Please try obtaining and using a Geocortex token via the GetRequestInfo activity.
