Now Available: Geocortex Essentials and Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 4.12

Geocortex Essentials and HTML5 Viewer 4.12 are now available on the (https://support.geocortex.com/essentialsGSCDownloads?productTitle=Essentials?-nav=downloads&main-nav=essentials) Downloads page or from your local Geocortex vendor.

 

The following information applies to this release:

• This release is the first to use unified Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 and Geocortex Essentials versioning.
  • Major and minor releases will include both the Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 and Geocortex Essentials.
  • These releases will follow the Geocortex Essentials version numbers.
  • Maintenance releases of each product may still be made available separately.
• This release is compatible with ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.1, and all previous versions from 10.3-10.7.

The following features were introduced in this release:

• Support for Web Map references which include Smart Mapping renderers.
• Ability to use the Arcade scripting language to configure replacement tokens for the Feature

   

  Details and Feature Label properties of layers.

Please refer to the ‘Release Notes’ for a full listing of issues addressed.

  Ok so we jumped HTML5 viewer numbers to match GE. Cool idea. That makes talking about version so mucch easier : )

   

  With that in mind some "Map Tips/Pop Ups" like "Data Linking" was supposed to be fixed in HTML5 2.13....should we assume all support replies that said it should be in HTML5 2.13 is = to HTML5 4.12 release?

  Yes, that's exactly the case.  If we said in a previous communication that something would be fixed in 2.13, you can take that to mean 4.12.  We would have been saying "2.13" before the decisions for the naming changes were made/finalized. 

   

  The Downloads page has release note PDFs for both Essentials and the HTML5 viewer if you want to double check for any bug fixes. There are several map tip fixes in this release, including "BUG 30624 Datalink replacement tokens do not resolve in Map Tips."

  This very frustrating issue has never been resolved in the last release 4.12

  Hi Stephanie, We have already upgraded our Geocortex to 4.12. Unfortunately, the ungrouping option is not there! Very disappointed
