Bookmarks button issues in 4.12
Since our upgrade to Essentials / Viewer 4.12, the floating bookmarks button does not show in-spite of several fully functional elements w/in the Named Extents REST. We also have the bookmarks button enabled from w/in Viewer -> Map Widgets -> Bookmarks. If you force the floating button to show by adding the bookmarks tool to the toolbar and enabling it OR modifying the CSS for the floating button (class="zoom-control-btn bound-visible"); the predefined Named Extents fail to show until a user adds a new bookmark.
Can this issue be be replicated anywhere else?

We have been having the same exact problem! I contacted support, and they filed a bug report and said that they are not aware of any workarounds. I even played with the JSON file and could not get it to work. 0 -

We are experiencing intermittent display of the Bookmarks button. If not initially displayed, refreshing the browser window usually resolves the issue and the Bookmarks button reappears. 0 -
Hi Everyone,
We are aware of this issue and will be looking at it soon. Enabling deferred module loading will reduce the incidence of this issue and refreshing the browser will likely cause the bookmarks button to reappear.

We upgraded the viewer to 4.12.2 recently, and the bookmark button works great now! It also fixed a couple of other issues like the formatting of the attribute table column headers when opened on iPad. 0
