Map Tips - Force Additional Details to open in Table View?

We are using both Map Tips and Identify, and we have some users who prefer one over the other.  However, we need the Map Tips Additional Details to behave the same way that the Identify Results do, and display in the bottom region Table view, not in the left panel.  Map Tips Additional Details does not honor the setting in Manager for the default results view. 

 

 

I have poked through the Desktop.json file, but the map tips do not seem to have a setting for ShowResultsTable or ShowResultsList.  Can you point me to where I might be able to alter this setting?

  I am almost certain that setting used to work to display in table view using View Additional Details, but I am struggling to get this to work also.  We are using Viewer for HTML5 2.11.2
