Bookmarks missing after upgrade

Bookmarks are missing after upgrading viewers to HTML5 4.12.1.  The bookmark options are selected in Manager (Map Widgets) but don't appear in the viewer.  Creating a new site and viewer, I am able to configure bookmarks but I notice that there's a new tag in the desktop.json.js file called "deferLoading": true.  Not sure if that has anything to do with it?

  Hi Dan,

  You are on the right track with your guess but unfortunately, this is an issue that a few others have found when this setting is turned off.

   

   

  We suggest that you enable deferred module loading to improve performance of the viewer. This feature essentially only loads specific components of the viewer as they become activated on the map.

  Thanks for the tip.  Unfortunately, deferredModuleLoading is set to true in my viewers?  Is there anything else that could be controlling this?

  Yep we are seeing issues with Bookmarks in 4.12.1 as well.  We currently have a support issue logged with our distributor.

  In my branched asked question, a temporary/slightly annoying workaround is to add a user bookmark and the system's bookmarks will load.

  We discovered that as well but it has to be re-added with every new session.

  They already fixed this issue with a patch a few months ago. However, that is what I ended up doing too.
