Ellipse drawing tool - draw at angles?

Hi all,

 

 

Does anyone know if there's a way to use the ellipse drawing tool to draw between two points? It seems I can only draw an ellipse shape from north/south and east/west, but not click two points on my map at an angle to draw an ellipse shape between them?

 

 

Runnning GeocortexViewer for HTML5

  You can't draw between two points initially, but if you draw an ellipse then edit it, there is a control handle that allows you to rotate and resize the ellipse.  Not the best solution.... but it's a solution.

  Hi Peter, great thank you. I can see the handle now. It's not that intuitive, most graphics packages usually switch the icon of the vertex used to rotate a feature to a rotate symbol. I might post that as an enhancement idea, together with the ability to draw an ellipse between two points on the map. Thanks for your help Peter!
