HTML5 viewer question about creating a feature

I just noticed that when I view my description for a feature in the legend it will display the actual description that is defined in my domain. When I go to add a feature the selection list only shows the number value instead of the description. I don't believe it used to behave in that manner last year. Is there a way to get the actual description instead of the domain number when adding a feature?
