User is being asked for certificates on accessing the map, which never loads
Yesterday I learned of user who is unable to get to the map after signing in. The logo spins endlessly. But before this, she is asked for a certificate and provides one signed for herself. This is not happening for anyone else, but I am hopeful someone here can shed some light on what might be wrong and what to look at. The map is for authenticated users only, else I'd post its address here.
Thanks in advance,
Justin

Hi Justin,
Do you happen to know what operating system and browser this user is trying to access your viewer from?
Thanks, Stefan

Thank you for the quick response, Stefan. The user is in a remote office served by a third-party IT support service. All I know is they have tried Chrome, IE, Edge, and Firefox, with all four behaving in the same way.
Before I saw your reply, I opened support case #02427849 with Esri Canada. I will post the solution here0 -
We had a similiar issue when chrome/IE updated their security on browsers.
You user can add your site as a google trusted site https://support.google.com/chrome/forum/AAAAP1KN0B0BLOivjDTTW0/?hl=en&gpf=%23!topic%2Fchrome%2FBLOivjDTTW0
You may need to work with your third party I.T to add your map as a trusted site, or a proxy
We had issues with links having security warnings within our map, we used the workaround here

Thank you Sylvia. I will share your suggestion with the user to see if it helps. 0 -
The problem turned out to be a virus on the user's machine.
Thank you anyway to Sylvia and Stefan for your willingness to help.
Best,
Justin0
