Chrome Bug with Drawing Tool

When using an out-of-the-box drawing tool, with version Version 83.0.4103.97 (Official Build) (32-bit)

 

of Chrome, at the centre of a circle or ellipse, a smaller grey circle or ellipse is created. When clearing the drawing layer, these smaller shapes at the centre do not disappear. This is a user's complaint and I have a newer 64-bit version installed, which does not have this issue. Company-wide, the above version is the comany image, is there something I can tweak on the Geocortex side?

  Is there a fix or workaround for this issue. My users are experiencing it for circles and rectangles.

  I believe this is bug 145668: Draw tools and Capture Geometry activity leave fragments of markup on the map.
  It is as far as I know not fixed, as it has been identified as an issue with the Esri API.

  In the past, I've seen this issue in Chrome 91 and Edge 101, so using a different browser could be a workaround.
