How do parse a comma seperated string and grab the coded values for each item in the string? (Survey123 multi select question)

I have several Multi Select Questions in my Survey 123 survey that have domains associated with them. Is it possible to parse the commas seperated string of values and grab the coded value for each? How would I do this. For one of these questions I would like to populate a series of checkboxes is their a check box element in reporting?
