Hi. In GHV, I'd like to add a viewer command that would highlight all results of an identify action. We have the viewer configured to show results in left panel as a list, and results are paginated in sets of 50. The corresponding 50 features on the map are highlighted by default. It's problematic that there is no way for the user to visualize the entire set of selected features. The command want's to go in the results context menu

 

 

I recall that for silverlight viewer there was a 'Select All' link that would highlight the full set of features. Is there a similar viewer command for GHV? I have tried adding some of the highlight commands and others that seem likely, but so far, no luck. Also, not sure what command parameter to use... Would it be "{{context}}"?

  There is an Highlight Mode setting in the Manager. See

  Highlight modes control how the highlighting of features on the map is related to features in the Results List.

  • Highlight Features On Page: Indicates that only the features on the current page of the Results List are highlighted on the map.
  • Highlight All Features: Indicates that all of the features on all of the pages in the Results List are highlighted on the map.
  • Do Not Highlight Any Features: Indicates the none of the features on the pages in the Results List are highlighted on the map.

  You can also change some settings (e.g. the pageSize in the FeatureSetResultsView in the Results Module.

  Thanks for the tip Nico. For some reason, I can't get that config to stick. I have changed to 'Highlight All Features', saved the changes and tested the viewer and the behavior has not changed. Back in Essentials Manager, I see the config has reverted back to the default setting. Having tried this several time, I'm sure it's not user error. Seems like a bug or perhaps an issue with the json config file. 

   

   

  Do you happen to know what section of the config file this updates? If so, I can edit manually.

  ResultsPageChangedBehavior: This behavior applies to the Results List only. It runs an array of commands each time the contents of the pages in the Results View change, for example, as a result of a deletion, an addition, or the clearing of the pages. This behavior is enabled with the default highlight mode of Highlight Features On Page specified in the Management Pack. By default, this includes the command ClearAndHighlightFeatures. If the highlight mode is set to Highlight All Features in the Management Pack, the behavior changes to AllResultsPageChangedBehavior, which by default includes the command ClearAndHighlightFeatures. If the highlight mode is set to Do Not Highlight Any Features, the behavior is removed.

  hmmm... edited the site config as indicated, but still not working. When I changed the behavior to 'AllResultsPageChangedBehavior', no highlighting happens. And in EM, the mode picklist is blank. We are at version 4.12 and confirmed the docs indicate the above is the correct value, for that version as well. 

   

   

  At this point, seems like I'll need Latitude support.

  FYI - confirmed this is a bug with Latitude support. At least for viewer version 4.12.2 which we are on.
