How to display a subset of features based upon query layer results

Is there a way to have a workflow display a subset of features based upon the results of a query layer? For example, I simply want to show any features on a map with a specific assessment ID. One assessment can have dozens of features, but I only want to show the results for that specific assessment. Thanks.

  You can set a layer definition

  The Get and Set Layer Definition Expression activities allow for configuring the definition expression for a map service or layer. In this sample workflow, a layer definition expression is set to SQMI>100000, then reverted. The map updates based on the expression set.
