    I have the same problem using Portal 10.8.1, and GeoCortex 5.16.2. The error started today (worked fine yesterday) and only pops up on that activity when it is being run within the Web App Builder, the activity executes fine when run in the GeoCortex Sandbox.

    The console messages point to a possible issue with a javascript library, I don't see the browser trying to make the call to the portal rest api to retrieve the user details;

    Hi David and Andrew,

    To help narrow when this issue was introduced, can you provide the versions you were using previously and the version that you updated to?

    Thanks, Stefan

    Hi Stefan,

    Thanks for the reply. For me we hadn't made any updates - these workflows have been unchanged since January, and we haven't upgraded either the portal or geocortex recently, it's a little strange.

    I know they were working earlier in the week/last week, but we haven't made any updates this side that might impact them. I created a test workflow with only the Get Portal User activity and an alert activity, that errors in the WAB but not in the sandbox.

    Andrew

    Hi Stefan, I had been running 5.20.1; and patched to 5.21 a month back or so; but when I saw the error show up the other day and noticed that 5.23 was released I updated to it to see if it was resolved; but no go.

    I am running ESRI 10.8.1 on-prem; with my Workflow also on-prem.

    Thanks for both your responses; we've identified the issue and I've added your names to the list of stakeholders. It's currently under consideration for a maintenance or hotfix release.

    Thank you Stefan, as this is now production-impacting to one of my applications a hotfix would be greatly appreciated by our customers and constituents.

    Hi! Same the problem in the production environment from one of our customers. A Hotfix would be really helpful :)

    @David Wright?

    @Andrew Kesterton?

    I'm happy to report that we have deployed an urgent fix to our SaaS environment. The issue should now be resolved.

    We will update the release notes and provide a download link for the latest installer in the coming days.
