Is it possible to create a polygon feature from a buffered line in a workflow...And then add that buffer polygon to a polygon featureclass?
Users would like to create a ROW polygon from a Street centerline when needed. So when a user selects a line feature (street), click the workflow to create a 40' buffer and then ADD that buffer as a polygon feature to the ROW dataset.
Thank you,

Hi Jill,
Here is a workflow that I have been working on that may do what you need. It will allow you to select features from any layer (point, line, polygon) and generate a buffer at a specified width. It'll let you preview it and then if all looks good, adds it to any editable polygon layer in the map. I built this for Web App Builder, not sure what you may be using.
As mentioned, it is a work in progress and I don't have much error handling or validation checks built in yet, but it does work.

Forgot that it relies on another workflow (attached here). Once you load this one and save it, you'll need to update the URL to it in the buffer workflow 'Initialize' container.

Is there any way you can help me trim this down to work on 1 Map Service layer? and Return 1 polygon buffer?
I brought it into my Geocortex Workflow designer, and I will save it as an ArcGIS item to run off my line layer in our Geocortex site...
