Trying to send an email to multiple recipients, by passing to the server email work flow, several inputs.

I found a similar question here:

But want to take it one step further, but passing the inputs from another workflow. I have created a value for the to input into the To address field, but I can not figure out the correct format to enter in the create value feature.

If it is entered as

=["tom@gmail.com", "tom2@gmail.com"]

when it goes to run the email workflow it adds "\" to it so it looks like

=[\"tom@gmail.com\", \"tom2@gmail.com\"]

Please help..
