Alias app id for url?

Is there a way to have an alias for the app id so that the url is more human readable than having a portal item id? For instance, our viewer url is:

 

{domain}?app=27248aaf2fb549eda3e4ebf9908092d5

 

Can we have an alias so it is like:

 

{domain}?app=surpluslands

  Hi Marc Rempel,

  There is no way to do this that I'm aware of. Ultimately Web needs the unique GUID of the app item from the Esri portal (or AOGOL) to locate and load the app config.

  There was a thread about this a while back in the ideas forum and I suggested:

  "As far as the "friendly" goes, I'd start by looking at what's already out there such as https://short.cm/ or https://www.rebrandly.com/"
