Collapse Date Picker After Selecting Date

Quality of life question -  Is it possible to have the Date Picker calendar collapse after the user selects a date?   Right now the calendar stays open requiring the user to perform an additional step of manually closing it.

If not possible through the events is this an option that can be added as our users are a little annoyed by this functionality.

I forgot to mention that this is occurring in the Html5 Viewer for Essentials as well as the Sandbox.  Not sure if this is a problem in other environments

  Is the behaviour different between browsers?

  Chrome 98.0.4758.82 and Edge 97.0.1072.76 both have this behavior.  I haven't tried any other browser as that is outside our standards.
