Integration Module and Matterport 3D Spaces

Hello,

 

We're planning to integrate Matterport, a platform for 3D space capture, into our GE/GVH map. See an example of a Matterport space here.

 

I've written a 3rdPartyMaps module utilizing the Matterport SDK and I've been able to successfully configure and launch in GVH. The idea is to allow users to launch the external map component in GVH and view the 3D space either by clicking a link in a maptip that runs a command or possibly through Workflow 5.

 

Is there a way to pass a variable into the module to change the target URL of the iframe? We need the SDK to handle authentication, so a straight link in our Facility layer isn't an option.

 

Any ideas on how to do this, or ideas on a different approach?
