Is it possible to publish a new layer to ArcGIS Online from a viewer?

Is it possible to use a workflow to create a layer in the viewer and then publish it to an ArcGIS Online account as new content? Or is it possible to create a new web map in ArcGIS Online from a Geocortex viewer? I would like to use a workflow to select a tax parcel and the surrounding zoning polygons and then make a new web map in ArcGIS Online with them.

  You can use "Convert to JSON" and then have a python script to catch and upload the JSON as a workaround.
