Web SDK - Stationary Event

RELEASED: Web 5.32

It would be cool if there was a stationary event that could be subscribed to - return T/F when the property has changed. Its tough/impossible detecting when the map has finally finished moving using the map.viewpoint-changed event.

 

This is super helpful when developing duel/sync map components - Google Street View, Pictometry, etc.

 

You can work around this by using watchUtils from esri and building out your own event logic but it doesn't feel correct and makes sense for this to be added to the Web SDK.

  I like the idea. We try to centralize logic that is waiting for 'stabilization' (e.g. the logic that detects if you've paused typing long enough to take action). I'll put some thought into it.
