Now Available: VertiGIS Studio Workflow 5.33

This release adds some new features to the designer like the new Activity Packs menu for managing installed activity packs, search in the Navigator component and using VertiGIS Studio Web in the Workflow Sandbox.

We also added support for a new Accessible Description on Form Elements and a new concept of Log Level.

Deprecation Notice:

• The legacy Workflow Activity Pack pattern has been deprecated and will no longer be supported in version 5.35. For further details of how this will affect VertiGIS Studio Web, refer to this community post.

  We have identified a bug in this release that affects pre-populating a few form elements.

  Usually, you can create a subworkflow for the load event of a form element and use the Set Form Element Property activity to set the value of various properties. We discovered that today's release has broken this for the following properties:

  • Password Box > value
  • Text Area > size
  • Text Area > value
  • Text Area > wrap
  • Text Box > value

  We are working on a fix and will have a patch release out soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  I thought I should clarify the scope of the bug I mentioned yesterday. Since Workflow 5.33.0 is not yet used by any products, the only place you would see this regression is in the sandbox when running on-premises and without VertiGIS Studio Web installed on the same server. Those are the only circumstances under which the basic sandbox environments are offered for 4.x. The 3.x environment is unaffected.
